From our water conservation classes to our Real Estate Pre-licensing Course, students will receive the knowledge they need to move forward with their next step.
We are a Certified Occupation School approved to provide the Real Estate Pre-Licensing Course by the Colorado Department of Education. We also provide continuing education classes approved by the Department of Real Estate.

Jessica is originally from Texas and moved to Fort Collins in order to attain her Masters Degree in International Development Anthropology from Colorado State University. Go RAMS!
Jessica loves Northern Colorado and is passionate about giving back to the community. Since beginning her career in community engagement in 2009, she has organized over 250 volunteer projects!
She brings over 10 years of experience in program management, volunteerism, and passion for education to the role of Director of Headwaters Institute. Jessica also leads the rain barrel and rain garden workshops. She is a certified in: Rainwater Harvesting, Permaculture Design, and QWEL (Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper).
Fun facts: Jessica was a collegiate cross country and track runner for a Division 1 University (SMU). She still runs today, but is mostly running pushing both her sons (4 years old and 2 years old) in a double stroller. Look for her at the local races! Jessica's favorite things to do are spending time with her husband and two boys, reading, hiking, running and playing air hockey.
Pete has lived in Northern Colorado since 1999 and has been a Real Estate agent since 2002. He has extensive teaching experience and has taught at Colorado State University, Front Range Community College, Education & Life Training Center, Headwaters Realty, Nextage Unlimited Real Estate, Spring Creek Group-8Z, and RE/MAX Alliance.
Pete has been the Managing Broker of Headwaters Realty since 2014 and leads the mentorship program for the brokers. He also has a passion for mentoring agents and helping them to be successful in the real estate industry. Pete shares his wealth of knowledge about the real estate industry with agents through the continuing education classes and with prospective agents through the Real Estate Pre-licensing Course that he teaches through Headwaters Institute.
Fun Facts: Pete is an outdoor enthusiast. Pete is a trail runner, hiker, triathlete, and mountain biker.In his free time his favorite thing to do is spend time with his wife, two sons, and dogs, hiking, running, and enjoying beautiful Colorado.
